Edgewood College cross country runs at NCAA Midwest Regional

 | | Christy Heintz | WINNECONNE, Wis.– The Edgewood College men’s and women’s cross country teams competed at the NCAA Midwest Regional hosted by UW-Oshkosh at the Lake Breeze Golf Club in Winneconne, Wis. Saturday, November 10. Andrew Garvey (McFarland, Wis.) clocked the fastest time for the Eagle men; while Sarah Pawlak (Middleton, Wis.) led the way for the women.

Three Eagles named to All-NAC cross country teams

MADISON, Wis.– Three Eagle cross country runners have been named part of the 2007 All-Northern Athletics Conference team. Freshman Andrew Garvey (McFarland, Wis.) was the lone Eagle named all-NAC for men’s cross country while Sophomore Christy Heintz (Poynette, Wis.) was named to the women’s All-NAC team. Teammate Sarah Pawlak (Middleton, Wis.) was named Honorable Mention All-NAC.

Men 6th, Women 8th at NAC Cross Country Championships

Garvey leads the way for Eagle Cross Country

 | | Andrew Garvey | MEQUON, Wis. -- Freshman Andrew Garvey (McFarland, Wis.) led the way for the Eagles as he paced the team with a finishing time of 26:51 which was good enough for an 8th place finish overall at the Wisconsin Private College Championships in Mequon, Wis.
