Scheele takes basketball skills to Europe for tour

 | Megan Scheele on her 2007 trip to Australia | MADISON, Wis. - Edgewood College women’s basketball standout Megan Scheele will leave Friday with USA Athletes International on a nine-day, four-game tour of England, France, Belgium and Amsterdam. This will be Scheele’s second international basketball trip as she participated on a similar USA Athletes International tour to Australia last summer.

Scheele, Updike honored at Eagles award banquet

 | | Coach Neils with Jenny Updike | MADISON, Wis. -- Junior Megan Scheele and senior Jenny Updike were honored at the Edgewood College women’s basketball Banquet on April 26 at Washburn Hall. Scheele won the TEAM above ME Award for her unselfish play while Updike won the “DDD” (Dedication, Desire, Discipline) Award for her hard work.

Scheele Named All-American

 | | Megan Scheele | MADISON, Wis.– Junior forward Megan Scheele was named to the D3Hoops.com All-American team. Scheele was a fourth team selection, placing her among the top 20 players in the nation. Scheele becomes the first D3Hoops.com All-American in Edgewood College history.

Scheele Earns First Team All-Region Honors

 | | Megan Scheele | MADISON, Wis. - Megan Scheele’s postseason awards cabinet keeps getting a little larger each week. This week, a junior forward from New Glarus, was named First Team All-Central Region by D3Hoops.com. This is her second consecutive all-region selection by D3Hoops.com, the top online source for Division III basketball news and information. By earning first team honors, Scheele is now eligible for D3Hoops.com’s All-American team.
