Koslowski shines at Twilight

MADISON, Wis. (May 10, 2008) – Corrin Koslowski was the only Eagle women’s track athlete competing at the Wisconsin Twilight Meet, the final meet of the season for the track team. Koslowski competed in the 800 meter run, breaking her own school record in the event.
Koslowski finished seventh in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:23.36. Her time was almost three seconds faster than her previous school record mark set last week at the conference meet where she finished second. Koslowski’s finish at the Twilight was the third best 800 time among Division III competitors.
No scores were kept at the meet that featured several Wisconsin schools along with Division I programs Wisconsin, Marquette, Northern Iowa and Northern Illinois.
The Wisconsin Twilight Meet was the final meet of the 2008 season for the Eagles. The team wrapped up their third season with arguably their best season ever; placing seventh at the conference meet while scoring a school record 35 points, crushing the old school mark.
